Discussion continues HERE.

This card is subject to Chase's 5/24 policy. To read a summary of the policy click HERE. To discuss it click HERE.

You can override 5/24 by having an in-branch pre-approval (only! online prequalification does NOT override 5/24), or by already being Chase Private Client (as in you see the "Chase Private Client" text on the login screen of the Chase mobile app.)

Landing page with bonus offer (100,000 UR after spending $4,000 in 90 days):

https://creditcards.chase.com/credit...04&IS2F=Y71UH0

Application page: https://applynow.chase.com/FlexAppWe...L3P&PROMO=DF01

100,000 UR points is worth $1,000 as statement credit, $1,500 when used for travel through the Chase portal, or potentially more if transferred to a partner.

Card features are here:https://www.chase.com/card-benefits/...reserve/travel. The card's Priority Pass includes unlimited guests. [Verified in Post #2635] Also verified by Chase

The card is made of the same material as the CSP, and is being shipped UPS Next Day Air Saver to everyone after production (currently (8/26) appears to have about a 3-day delay after approval before shipping. Expedited shipping is no longer being approved). Some are getting plastic cards with no box. Chase advises metal cards will follow later in these cases.

How to determine your account number, expiration date, and shipping date before receiving the card:
1. Send a secure message (SM) from the account. A common SM would be to ask about the sign-up bonus and last day to complete the spend requirement (which appears to be approximately 3.5 months from the date of approval).
2. Check the Sent Messages folder, and the full account number will be listed in the header of the message that you just sent. The number starts with 414720....
3. The expiration date is three years from the month of approval. So, if you were approved on August 31, 2016, your expiration date will be August 2019.
4. CVV2 number is not available, so if a merchant requires it for payment, you must wait for the physical card.
5. According to many reports, the card is not activated until it is shipped, which happens to be UPS Next Day Air Saver (if shipped on Friday, you will not receive the card until Monday or the next business day). To find out when it is shipped, go to My UPS and sign up for a free account. You'll be notified when a shipment is destined to your address.

Priority Pass Select
Click HERE to read the separate thread discussing this benefit.
As soon as the account shows up online:
1. Click on Go To Ultimate Rewards.
2. Scroll down to the very bottom left and click on "Card Benefits"
3. Activate Membership to request card.
4. Card will take 1-2 weeks and can't be expedited, but members have reported success in charging the lounge access to the card and requesting a refund from Customer Service.
5. PP cards will be issued for the account holder and any AU(s)
6. According to Chase, CSR's PP membership includes guest access.

Duplicate Card
1. If you receive the plastic card, wait for the metal card to arrive automatically.
2. If you receive the metal card, send SM or call to request plastic card (for use with overseas merchants that require a card imprint, because you hate metal cards, whatever).
3. DO NOT request a replacement card (especially under any pretense that the card was lost or misplaced).
4. Both cards will have the same number, expiration and CVV. Both cards will work.
5. It appears that all CSR cards are sent overnight once produced, including the plastic 'replacement' cards. No need to request expedited shipping.

How to get bonus points on the first statement:
Act very quickly; you may have less than a week. It depends on the timing of your first statement and when you receive the card. 4K in spending has to clear (not pending) about a week before the statement cuts in order to get the bonus points on that statement. Under "account details" you can see your first payment due date. Your closing date is usually three calendar days after your due date. For instance, if your very first bill is due October 20 that statement would close on September 23, and spending would have to clear by approximately September 16 in order to get the bonus points.

To be honest, I do not recall the exact language. I want to say it is limited to AD, but, I do not even know the official title of this program, and if it is an issuing bank decision, or something else.

I am over 5/24 so had my husband apply.
4/24, FICO 830, over $100k income

Application went to pending which I was a bit surprised by as I figured he would automatically qualify. He called Chase last night and the guy simply told him "not everyone will qualify for this card". So he asked the guy to lower the credit limit on two of his existing Chase cards and free up some credit.. then just wait and see.
Tonight I called the automated line (800-432-3117, hit #, 3, 1 and enter your SSN) and it says Wait 2 weeks. I think that is a good sign?

Damn. I thought I was golden for instant. 3/24, $100k+, 827 FICO and only $46 in CL with Chase. Guess I'll be calling in the morning.

Thank you for submitting a credit card application to Chase.

Here's what you can expect next:

We'll let you know of our decision through U.S. mail within the next 30 days. Please don't resubmit this application while waiting for our decision.

If we approve your application, we'll send your card and other important information to you by U.S
mail. Once you receive your card, call the number on the sticker right away so you can take advantage of everything your card has to offer.

If we don't approve your application, we'll send you a letter explaining why.

Thank you for applying for a Chase credit card

Bummer.

Employee at branch said I was pre-approved but got put into 7-10 day wait. Checking and savings at Chase. Freedom, IHG, Southwest Premier and Southwest Biz.

Hilariously I hadn't counted these up: 25/24
FICO 795-820 depending on source
six figure income

Pretty sure a phone call to recon would mean instant denial so thinking I'll just sit tight. Any other thoughts?

SCRA applies to debt incurred only prior to entering active duty. I'm pretty sure this applies to ANG/reserves if they are called to AD. Its well known that Chase pretty much won't waive the annual fee for service members and they are not legally obliged to do so.

Did you ask if you had any pre approvals before applying?

I did ask. No preapproval. I should've waited but I was too impatient. I didn't think I would be Abe to get CPC.

Do you have any other relationship w/ Chase? I was pre-approved for all the cards under 5/24 and was instantly approved for CSR, but have banking and mortgage with Chase.

I've had checking and savings accounts with Chase for about 8 years now. I have over $100k in there. No mortgage, though. I was a little surprised that I wasn't pre approved for it.

If bankers get commission then I'm sure they'll just say you're pre-approved even if you're not. I went in yesterday to ask and she kept saying there is no such thing as pre-approved and that my profile looks amazing and I should just apply. After pushing some more she finally showed me the screen and said "okay you're not pre-approved but you really should apply as your profile looks great" She also mentioned a guy before me earlier that day inquired and showed pre-approval on the screen.

over 810 FICO.

Current 4 Chase cards including CSP, no Chase bank accounts.

Went in yesterday and banker submitted, after checking if they could upgrade CSP to CSR. But they said I wouldn't get the bonus.

So we submitted a new app, went to pending.

I called recon line just now and they asked me to lift freeze with Equifax. So the guy says initial review is good, he'd move $15k CL from CSP and add $10k more.

But there needs to be a second level review and that could take up to 2 weeks.

...

Still strange, apparently nobody else is running into this second layer of approval needed thing.
My situation was very similar. After recon line review yesterday and moving some CL over, it was bumped to next-level review: verification. The verification line was closed by 5:15p Pacific so I called this morning and finished the job. Approved. If I hadn't called, the recon line agent said it might take a while for verification to get back to me.

As another reference point, I was approved in branch today. I applied on Monday online, and got the message:

We'll let you know our decision in writing as soon as we can. If we approve your application, you'll receive your card in the mail in 7-10 business days. Please don't resubmit your application.

In order to ensure I didn't get a rejection notice, I decided to apply at a local Chase.

The approval process in the branch was very quick. I was in/out in about 5 minutes.

That is kind of odd.

Mine was similar. About 15 mins, but half that was spent BSing with the banker. Hand over debit card and ID, she pulled up my account, sent in the app, and I was approved.
