Got the targeted offer (and got it the last time it was up this high when I also was denied because of 5/24). Sadly I'm at 5/24 and don't think it's worth the hard pull since it almost certainly will be denied due to 5/24.
I wish the targeted offer would allow pre-approval and waive 5/24 but not the case.
I'd happily take this offer if I could, I've not had a United Card in a while but have a big UA miles stash (from a few years of 1K and Plat flying on them) so the 70k bonus would be a nice add to the pile.

sadly, not targeted for the 70k points offer. Maybe I'll settle for the business version for now.

I edited my post because I wrote $50 SC with the offer originaly. When I stepped away from the united page to research if the 70k points was a good offer, the $50 SC disappeared.

Seems to be a lot more difficult to become "targeted" for this offer compared to past offers. No combination of logging out/in/incognito/different accounts seems to be able to generate an application page for me.

On a separate note, can the better saver availability that comes with the UA card be replicated by having status with UA?
I can MS to get Marriott Plat = UA Silver. Will that give me the same better availability as the UA card does?

Anyone know if secure message reps will provide a match for the higher 70k offer? I keep getting the 50k or 50k+$50SC offers on various iterations of the site, but would really prefer the 70k+$50 offer…
Wondering if I apply blindly assuming the Chase reps will be able to add 20k MP points? I know the secure message often works for the CSR/Ink families of cards, as well as other Chase cards. But reading through the history here, I'm not familiar with the United MP cards
