What qualifies as a "restaurant" for the Q2 2014 bonus?
From the Freedom website:
From the Freedom website:
Merchants in the Restaurants category are merchants whose primary business is sit-down or eat-in dining, including fast food restaurants as well as fine dining establishments. Please note that some merchants that sell food and drinks located within larger merchants that sell other goods or services may not be included in this category; for example, sports stadium concessions and department store cafeterias.

Just checking. Did you get 5% cash back on 7-Eleven? I do not believe it is listed as a merchant in Chase for gas category hence it is not counted towards 5%

It's similar to bars being categorized as restaurants when they don't even serve any food.

You can log into your Chase account and go to 'Blueprint'. Go to 'Track it'. My 7-eleven purchase shows up under 'Gas Stations'. 5% should post but I'll be able to check later this week for sure.

Blueprint is just a gimmick for charging you interest. This is what my Chase personal banker told me. Even though it categorizes OD as department store, it will 99% be coded as an office store when it comes to getting your points.
