Since you probably use the link in 1st post to apply, did you read the first post where it has copied the T&Cs that are in plain English - what is not clear that you still have a question on this topic?

Quote:

80,000 bonus points after first use.
Free night every year at any of our hotels. (You need to call 1-877-318-5890 after your anniversary date to redeem it)
5 points per $ spent at our hotels
2 points per $ spent on gas, groceries and dining
1 point per $ on everything else
10% points rebate on any redemptions. (These post automatically after the statement date)
No fee 1st year, then $49.
No foreign transaction fees.

Just a quick heads up for anyone on the fence. I applied on 9/19 using the direct link on the first post. Took a bit for the app to go through, took a secure message and a phone call to figure out if it was approved or not b/c never received a confirmation email. Also confirmed the 80k sign on bonus is attached.

It's always good to read the last couple pages of a long thread to see what the current situation is. Such a read would have let you know that many people are having success in recent weeks.

Here is a data point for you:

Applied and approved on Aug 23
Received card on Aug 31
Purchased a pack of gum on Sept 5
Statement closed on Sept 14
80k PC points + points from my purchase post to my PC acct Sept 17
Used points to book room for 2 nights at IC London for a value of USD 1,346.31

So, for those of you asking if this deal is still good. Yes, it is.

Though I have already used my sign-up points I plan to keep this card for the benefits. The anniversary night and Plat status is well worth the annual fee.

IC London is 40K points for $650 room? makes me feel like an idiot to waste my 100K on Palazzio Las Vegas. maybe I should just pay cash or stay right across.

I used 40k + $70 per night option. The room goes for £412 which at the time converted to USD 673.16 per night. Take into account the $70 per night I had to pay, gets you to a value of $603.16 per night or $1206.32 all in.

I didn't go into the details of booking the IC room as this thread was about the PC card and if the 80k points offer is still valid. My point is yes, it is alive and well.
