Hmmmm, I got 100,000 miles last December and now just had an additional 5,000 bonus miles post.

Im waiting now for my extra 10K to post for my $1000 spend for April-May-June

I just realized I'll miss out on this 10k bonus. I'd scheduled a recurring $1000/mo charge to go through each month, well apparently the June charge didn't go through till July 1st. :(

Why would you cut it so close? instead of end of month, schedule it on the 25th would prevent such accident.

where was this extra 10K deal posted? Is it on the website, did one have to sign up?

If it is a wide-spread error, you can be assured that Chase would do a sweeping audit. You just need to visit CO forum to find out what has happened with an additional 10K miles posted to many people's OP accounts (some legitimate some erroneous) the additional 10K was taken back months later even if the post was legit... Chase found out the error and decided to take it back from everyone before it performs a thorough audit to distinct the deserving members from the non-deserving one.

Dont know what would happen if Chase eventually find out this error and you have already used up your non-deserving miles ...

Because of your post I became a bit worried and called my wife. She was not aware that we were credited an additional 100k miles as she usually doesn't get involved with these types of things... I was just warning her that we might have to repay the miles, when she informed me of something that I was unaware of...My son also applied for the 100k mile offer. b/c we are all in a household account I just thought we were getting double miles for no reason.. Now I have to face my son and his missing 100k miles:) at least we caought it now before he was ready to book I guess...

edit. actually looking at my account, trans date is 6/30 but post date is 7/1.. wonder if that will count?

Well. it should have been the 27th.. the previous two months did go through on the correct days. As it is the transaction date is 6/30 but post date is 7/1.
