Okay, just applied via link in post #2233. It appears to have gone through and all the graphics indicated this was the 100,000 miles offer. As another poster indicated, the frugal travel guy's links now point to a 30,000 miles offer.
I'll post another update when I get the results of my application, although I expect to get rejected due to getting a CO card back in November.

Thanks! I think that worked, the second time.
The first time, I was trying to print out the "good stuff" in the margin, but nothing worked. I think it slowed me down so that may have interfered with my first submission (today). They seem to purposely make it hard to print! But I took some screen shots...
Thanks for posting that link!

Oops, now I just figured out how to print the detail -- go to File > page setup, and tick "print background". Prints out pefectly. (I'm using firefox.). Easy enough, makes me feel silly for not realizing it sooner.

According to what it says along the right side of the page, it would still qualify for the 100,000 mile bonus........

You can also just print out the T&Cs in the small print at the bottom of the application page. That has all the details as to bonus, spending needed, etc.

I applied on the afternoon of January 07. Moments ago a lady from CHASE called me about approval of the card, but she said the credit line will be less than $10K and asked me whether I am willing to close some of my other CHASE credit cards to increase this card's CL. Since I have planned to close the Mileage Plus student card long time ago, now it is the good time to do it.

Not if I read the T&C. If you saved the secure message you be able to get it waived.

Sorry if this is posted somewhere in the previous 56 pages...
Hoping to have $30K charged this month.
Has anyone rec'd their companion cert?
If so, wondering how fast it was processed and "sent"
Is it indeed a paper cert, or electronic on one's ba.com account?

Sorry if this is covered before, but I didn't see it:
When they say taxes and other surcharges apply when using your miles to book a flight, do they mean that you must pay those charges in cash, not miles? For example, if the ticket costs $800, $500 of which is tax, would you be allowed to use your miles only on the $300 of it?
