Used T-4 to fly SIN-BKK on CX last week. Late lunchtime take-off. I was amazed at how calm the whole terminal was (quieter than some lounges - see AKL Air NZ comments) and the CX lounge was fine-the updated 'lots of wood plus noodle bar' design. Not QF First Class standard though, I admit.

I see
Seems a bit of hassle, but I think I'll manage
The problem now is that I think I'll be on the 12:55 pm CX690, but both BA and QF lounges open after 14:30, so would it be possible to enter those two lounges the night before?
(I've tried entering airside for a 9am flight with SQ the night before two years ago, and it worked, not sure about now)

PS The T2-T4 shuttle (airside) was running at ~15mins interval so a considerable amount of time would be needed for lounge hopping.

Seems like some changes to lounge hopping methodology:
Check in at T4
Enter restricted area at T4 (as opposed to T2)
Take airside bus to T2 (this is allowed these days?)
Go to T1 for Lounge
Then go back to T4 by airside bus for CX departure?

Today's detour (CX716 T4 Gate 21):
15:45 arrive t4
15:50 perform tax refund registration
15:57 completed check in start moving to t2 landside bus
16:04 board t2 bus
16:13 get off t2 bus
(16:17 reach t3
16:25 leave t3)
16:32 enter t2 immigration
16:38 exit t2 immigration
16:40 obtain tax refund cash
(Irvins and other shopping)
17:08 reach T2 gate 51, security check
17:15 board bus
17:24 get off bus, arrive at blossoms lounge
17:38 leave lounge
17:45 arrive T4 gate g21
The only thing was, the gate 51 receptionist was confused why I wasn't transferring from another flight, but I clarified I arrived yesterday and was allowed on the bus.
- Go to the early check-in desk in the Jewel and make sure you get a printed boarding pass with a stamp on it, and then you can clear security at T1-T3
- Go to T4 and clear security there, and then take the airside bus, which will allow you to access other terminals"

"If you’re departing from Terminal 4 but want to access different terminals (which is the only problematic scenario, since Terminal 4 isn’t easily connected to the other terminals), either:
