This is pretty gross not just in flights but everywhere else. I'm guessing she should have brought it back to the gallery and picked it with a fork (or her fingers... who knows)

Perhaps its CX's newest operating directive in cost savings: Pax requests Kosher/Muslim/Veg Meal? Mark on PNR, remove Ham/Meat from plate and serve.
Having work in restaurants (from fast food to fine dining) during my youthful days, I can say it's better not to know then to know. But hell yet, never touch food in front of customer, is she nuts?

The FA was uncouth and unpolished.

And she was insensitive with respect to thinking that removing the ham (however she did it) solved the problem.

But, in this instance, she did not touch food that was to be consumed. But it leaves me to wonder what else she might do one day . . . .

At bottom, however, if one finds something like this intolerably nasty, one should never eat food that one has not prepared by one's self. I assure you, we have all survived far more unhygenic practices, likely without knowing they occurred.
