1A/K is my favourite seat on the 747 (and yes, I do prefer the 747 but not by enough that it matters). Have never found it too cold. Pretty much just right on CX and QF; often too hot on BA, but then that seems to be a BA sop. The great thing about 1A/K are the partial forward views due to the slant of the nose.
