How far is this CX winter schedule running until? Does it cover march2025?

thanks

Im also running into issues. Over the next few weeks the hkg-yvr schedule seems to be very random. Some days its 2 flights sometimes its one. Wonder if this will stablize once the winter schedule is published

What about summer schedule? When will they release based on last year?

Looking at redemption for end March CKG-SIN but the HKG SIN flights are lacking from 31st Mar to Apr onward although revenue flights are out.

SQ has the same issue due to China's approval.

cathay usually is the last airline to update the summer schedule fleet allocation, possibly only at early march they would do it (or later), most airlines would do it earlier than this

Wow, might be too close for comfort for me then. They do have sprouts of availability on random dates in April which is weird. Guess I will have to opt for SQ, thanks.

Was it like that even before Covid?

I booked LAX-HKG-AKL and BNE-HKG-JFK January flights back in August. So far, the only change I have been notified about is the AA connector at the end JFK-MIA. My outbound from LAX changed by 10 minutes is the only CX change so far.

Apr peak period?

I'm looking to book a redemption for HKG-SIN end March and there is no availability from 31 March to late April. Availability comes back 22 April onward. Wide availability before 30th March too. Is this a usual peak period for CX? Was wondering what's up.

Should be the Easter holidays.

I thought this would be a good time to bump this thread because it appears that CX, this morning, began updating their NW25 schedule, about a month earlier than expected. Hopefully they can get all their equipment on routes finalised within the next few days. Some interesting things to note;
- CX548 to HND is switching from 77A --> 77J from January, and it's losing F, which is interesting
- CTS has got the 77J in the schedule until December
- CX has updated the outbound equipment for some European routes, but the return hasn't been updated (e.g. MXP outbound shown as 77A, return on the same day still displaying as 359)
This is also a good place to note any more interesting changes to the schedule as it rolls out over the next few days/weeks.

i'm critically annoyed because i just issued a ex AUS PEY ticket to HND and now all these PEY come out 48 hours later.

I can't remember where I read/heard this but I'm pretty sure you can contact CX and ask them to move you up to PEY on the HND legs now, since you had already booked in a PEY fare class. I'd probably try reading up on the forum before contacting CX though, I'm sure someone else would have had past experience with this issue and can give you much better advice than I can.

if you had PEY to HND, I assumed it's on 548/549, which is not affected?

I'm still waiting for them to finalise the TPE schedule, they had a few evening flight after 402 before 408 on GDS but unavailable to book yet

548/549 was previously filed as an A330 without PEY.
Fingers crossed they finish the entire schedule very soon!

funny my cx549 they only have "W" subclass avaiable. looking at dates around and other similarly newly loaded A359 or 77W flights I noticed they zeroed out except J and W (so J9C9D0I0, W9R0E0) subclass which looks more like still jiggling around their existing bookings or ensuring existing seat allocations can be sorted before releasing to general plebs like me. Of course I only have R and E this time.

Yes there's other thread discussing HND specific PEY issue. I will report back after i give it some time.
