Cathay hasn't loaded flights that far into the future yet (for some detinations, especially new ones), so that's why nothing is listed at the moment. They should be loading the schedule in shortly.

Thanks a lot - will keep an eye out

It seems odd that before Oct 25 there are 11 flights available throughout the day, but just 3 evening-only flights from Oct 25 onward.

Is it the case that the daytime flights will appear eventually (perhaps as late as next summer)?
If so, why do those three evening flights appear available at all?
Just curious.

Thanks.

You see 565/451/531 because these flights are Japan-TPE-HKG, but CX407 in the morning should be available, too, if you desperately need to book a flight (maybe award redemption)? More flights will open up by summer 2026 I'm sure.

Is CX still blocking peak travel dates for redemption? Looking to book for Dec 2026 holidays

why should they give seat for free when they can sell them?

One selling point of recent devaluation was to open up more seats for redemption. Just looking for data points if its true for Dec schedule. JL has been constantly releasing seats albeit just for 2 seats now (last year i've seen 6 seats for JL flights).

to be fair on CX, i found their releases to be ample. i never tried for red hot dates like chinese new year or xmas but in any industry there are "blackout" dates and this is just one of them.

besides i think you can get Y seats. but you want J, which is prized asset. i dont think CX has any obligation to release J seat on every flights

NW26 flights have barely been loaded in yet. Cathay is slow at loading it. You only see 3 evening flights now because those are probably the flights they're confirmed operating (I'd assume 595, 451 and 531?). The full NW26 schedule will be loaded in its entirety closer to march with aircraft types confirmed around September. The daytime flights will appear later, towards the start of 2026.

For what it's worth, daytime flights are now appearing.
Thanks again.

CX seems to be filing the new timetable for NS26. Just got 2x 5minute changes to the flight departure time today.

Yes, my ex-CDG flight has a 15minutes departure time change, and metal changes also, happened at Wed late night.

I got two changes - 5 minutes each. The first email had blank space under the New Itinerary and Old Itinerary sections, and a greyed-out version of the old itinerary, which turned out to be the new one.

After annoying me and making me log in to the website, it turned out to just be a 5 minute change. Luckily, the second change a day or so later had a proper email.

I typically only fly Cathay once a year and I remember them doing the same last year. I don't know why they can't just have the summer times loaded into the system for those tickets they sell - it seems to be the same changes each year.

i use these changes to get my ticket cancelled and waive the fee. initially Manilla agents refused i escalated to HK supervisor.

i think they go big ticket item first

my Aria LHR was changed a month or two ago for NS26, just recently the YYZ and YVR flights were changed (those 5min finalization change) this week but none of my Australian flights affected yet. i expect they move to medium haul finalization and Asia routes come last. Heck CX doesnt even bother loading bulk of TPE flights.

What time changes allowed you to get the fees waived? I have a 5 minute change and I'm assuming that this wont trigger a free cancellation.

manilla agents saying 48hr which is simple lie. i called and said its involuntary change so i should be entitled, and ask t escalate to supervisor.

its just how strong u demand it. a delay arrival obviously give you a case than earlier arrival.

SQ on other hand, if they trigger a change even 5min have automatic option for full refund
