I can now see fare classes(Y,B,H..etc) on CX website with fare type

Fare classes are shown on flight details section.

Good news! I cant imagine the snowball effect of complaints that had to take place for the company to walk back on its changes of removing transparency for those of us trying to FFP points

This doesnt seem implemented yet on the iOS app (my region is the Americas, if that makes a difference)

Where do you see that before finalizing the booking?

I suspect it's BA that forgot to update their chart. AA had the same issue with JL chart. Back in 2021 JL flipped their I and X fare (discounted and deeply discounted J). CX updated their JL charts but AA didn't. I called, emailed, called (yes, I needed the extra miles to maintain OWE) and AA finally updated their JL chart in Mar/Apr 2022.

I can see CX P fare on AA (and AY) charts so CX did inform other airlines but BA probably didn't see the memo. But I'm surprised no BA flyers bug BA about it if P fare was introduced years ago ... or maybe they did and BA just ignored it. I mean it's BA ....

It is visible before you enter the passenger details.
