Thinking to get iPhone 7Plus. Is it better to buy from Apple (offer free Beats headphone) or Broadway (using HSBC VS)? Any other cards with promotion if I buy from Apple online Store?

10X BEA https://www.hkbea.com/html/en/bea-cr...fer-apple.html ?

But I'm not sure if Apple Store has stock. Card jings are buying the iphone/headphone pair and selling the headphone at Sin Tat for profit to cover the iPhone trading loss.

SCB CUP 12X Rewards

I never knew about this one (although I've had the SCB CUP Card for a while) and it's not listed in the Wiki!

Does this work out better than the Citi Rewards card for supermarket spending? (as long as you spend at least $5K a month)

And what is the maximum monthly spending that qualifies for 12X rewards.

Me neither. I think I miscalculated the required spend for this promo when I first saw it. I only started playing this promo in December.

$5,000 per month max (but you must also achieve $5,000 spend per month to qualify).

Thanks. The other great advantage seems to be that it covers department stores as well (e.g. Fortress) whereas Citi Rewards only works for supermarkets.

What's the effective earning rate for the 12X spending?

One bullet purchase on Fri/Sat/Sun ok
Min $500 purchase

Promotion special add-on:
15% up to 200RC for mobile purchase (only meaningful difference from Nov-Dec promotion - Nov Dec capped this at 100RC http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/catha...l#post27419071)
So, assuming no other add-ons except Android/Apple Pay, this is 655RC for HKD6K?

I really need to get a HSBC VS w/ HOME category for these Manning deals...

Citi Rewards 5X covers department stores as well as telecom providers https://www.citibank.com.hk/english/...wards-card.htm

And I am very sure Fortress is not coded as a department store (I don't have a Fortress transaction for months but I'm almost absolutely certain the MCC is 5732 Electronic Sales)

$1.25/AM. But only if you hit $5,000 exactly in supermarket/department Store/convenience store.

Wow. At that rate its worth buying $5K of Wellcome or PNS coupons every month to hit the target.

Thanks for the heads up about Fortress. Better go back to getting someone with an HSBC 5X Rewards set to Home to buy anything I need there.

Do you now have a non-Chinese-speaking means of offloading them? (Assuming you don't actually spend that much there!)

This can also combo with the recent SCB online/F&B promotion, so that you can get 7% rebate for online / F&B. Amazon US accepts CUP, FYR.

Yes but HSBC HK CUPs are rejected http://forum.hongkongcard.com/forumSE/show/17642 #1. However, SCB HK CUPs are accepted #9.

Not the OP, but I offload all kinds of coupons (including supermarket and Manning) to friends and family at a 5% discount. :P

Afraid not. But I haven't really looked because, with a family with young children and eating most meals at home, we often get through close to that amount in coupons most months. Mannings is more difficult although, given their great offers, I'm trying to shift as much household spending there as possible.

Two long outstanding questions that I don't have good answers for:

1. Can you refer me to a CPA who will sign off my private co's accounts for tax return but is cheap and will not ask too many questions?

2. Can you send me contact of an English-speaking coupon trader?
