No Available Seats in Online Check-in; Possible Outcomes?
Trying to do online check-in for my elderly parents on CX890 from HKG to EWR. Their fare class does not permit pre-assigned seats other than during the check-in period. However, there are no seats in Y other than bulkhead seats that require USD130 or 26,000 AsiaMiles.

What are the possible outcomes?

Check in at airport and hope for the best that my parents do not get assigned seats that have limited recline next to the lavatories?

Thanks in advance for any insight.

Ie T-24 hrs for usa bound routes
