I suppose they will refresh the paint before sending it back to Boeing.

But yes some of those have been flying for like 20 years already and there is still no clear plan for the regional fleet except the 32 321neo and 5 773 from EK. Still some old birds to take care of unless they turn the LH ones to SH.
Yup, the 5 2008 buildt A333 are already solded to SN, that's the only A330 that will be handed to SN.

I think the ex EK 773 that was due for CX will have the ex EK Business Class seat, but the First will be removed. I don't know about the Economy yet.

the seats from HNL and subsequent 777 retirements will be removed and saved for the arriving EK773s. recycle and refresh I believe.

Although the 2-3-2 flatbed from EK has been controversial, I think it is still an improvement to the regional J on 772/773 of CX.

Sure, but is that news true? I've heard absolutely nothing to that extent. I'd be interested to know the source just to know if this is possibly accurate.

Yes indeed, it doesn’t sound like the practice of CX to keep existing configuration of other airlines. And CX has been maintaining consistent cabin fitting. But I would not mind if such an improvement is real.

Although the ex-EK (LH!) being non-controversial an improvement over the current CX regional J, it is unlikely to happen, given the significantly lower density of the ex-EK J.

Oneworld livery

The only aircraft with oneworld livery is the A330 B-HLU. Used to see the 77W with oneworld livery, now no more. I hope that the upcoming A350-1000 would have oneworld livery.

For business class, maybe.
For economy, No since the 773s will be in 10 abreast, they use different kind of seats.

Just checked CX238 config for Jun19, it seems like KQA has not been refitted to 77K
