Hey guys, I just got back to MNL completing the 4 sectors of the A350. I'll try to post photos later...
I was able to try the PEY and it's quite comfortable, I haven't actually tried the current PEY so I have nothing much to compare it with. JCL seats are same-same-but-different, it builds on a very successful product just added new bells and whistles to enhance passenger experience. The ottoman now seems smaller but there is space underneath where you can keep your shoes unlike the current products, where the shoe lockers are too small and pretty much useless. The PTV now has a bigger screen and the touch screen is more responsive. The interface has also been improved, with photos of your destination as the background of the home screen. Air Show has also received some upgrades, you can switch views, between top view, left or right widows or cockpit view. Aesthetically, it's not as bad as how it looks on the photos....but it's not the best looking Business Class seat either. I noticed that the DR1 galley is smaller, and seems to lack counter space, on some of the current aircraft the crew could take out some carts to use as counter space but the space around the door seems to be smaller also so it's a little tight. DR4 galley at the back is a different story, it's huge! it even has a center island in the middle for work space (and so that the crew can play mahjong). Wifi, I used the wifi on 3 of the 4 sectors, and they were okay. You can chat, post photos on FB and Instagram...I did have some issues uploading one video. I was able to use FB Live yesterday but it gets cut every 30+ seconds... |
