Looks like QRC3288's wish to have a big shared table has been granted!
So from the description above it sounds like there's still an opening into the J area?

Finally came to the Atrium - I think it's great!
Took me a few months, admittedly I've been avoiding the Wing since the Pier F opened. So what I'm about to say no doubt it redundant to many on this forum...sorry.
I think they've done a spot-on job here! CX is really nailing it on their lounges these days. Very impressed.
*Keeps the open, airy design of the Wing while subtly incorporating some of of the softer "homey" designs such as Pier F, TPE, etc.
*Tea bar is a lovely touch, next to the espresso / coffee bar. I'm also a huge fan of how they've got a relatively proper Chinese way to brew the tea. With the water boilers, independent steeping mechanisms, and finally the clay pots. Sure tea affectionados are going to be able to nitpick but for an airport lounge, I've not come across something like this yet. It's nice that CX can appeal to Chinese sensitivities as well as Western ones.
*There are finally enough quality snacks and bites out here so you don't have to go into the Haven.
*Some of the snacks out here seem proprietary, for example the foccacia / sourdough paninis, and pickle selection. It's basically a higher-end version of The Cabin panini bar.
*Other snacks seem to take inspiration from Pier F, which is nice to see.
*Open table seating. I'm a huge fan of this. Easy to work (or fiddle around on FT...
), I'm banging away at my laptop in here right now. Only minor quibble is they don't have power outlets at these communal tables. I understand not having in the Haven, but would've been nice out here. Oh well, there are power outlets under the bar so it's not a huge deal.
*And it is obviously part of the F lounge now, with a proper barrier! It's a lot harder for non-F lounge enabled pax to get in. Great.
*I'll have no issues coming back to the Wing with this place. I had stayed away for a while, but this room makes it inviting - and fresh - again for this longtime CX flier. Whoever CX has doing their lounges, I am very impressed. To me, they are just nailing all their new lounges / remodels.
(Apologies I am horrendous at pictures...hopefully a more proper FT member will be able to take some additional pics in here at some point.)
