Qatar miles after joining oneworld
Hi all
Does anyone know what typically happens to the miles that are earned on Qatar Airways programme in relation to MPC? For example if my MPC membership year is June to June and QR joins oneworld by April 2014, will the miles I accumulate from QR from say June 2013 to June 2014 be transferable to CX MPC? or will it just be added to my Asia miles? or will they only count my April - June 2014 flights towards MPC assuming I sumbit my MPC number instead of the QR number.

You almost certainly won't be able to transfer points from QR to AM, and at the moment I don't think you can even credit QR flights to AM (without earning club miles) since they're not listed as an AM partner.
Basically, count on not being able to earn anything from QR flying until flights taken after QR officially joins OW.

You can only earn Club Miles and Asia Miles when Qatar officially join oneworld. Though there are some rare cases where you can start earning Asia Miles if Qatar and Asia Miles begin their partnership earlier.
