After reviewing my statement, there is nothing wrong. The bracket is to distinguish AMEX issued AMEX and other issuers' AMEX, while SCB and DBS are just an exhaustive list of example. In any event, AMEX issued AMEX can't do AAVS.

I am surprised to find that SCB AMEX earns nth. I tried to search for other SCB cards but in vein, where is the basis for earning points with AAVS on other SCB cards?

Oh I forgot, Amex own cards can't do AAVS at all! Thanks for reminder.
I still remember moving AAVS to Shacom PLK for 6X $1.33/mile and having to move it back again after they canned my card.
Currently it's really either Bankcomm CUP or Citi Prestige for $6/AM. Unless you're collecting Avios as well.

I think yes as well. Because AAVS depends on agreement between issuing bank and Octopus company and has nth to do with Visa/Master/AMEX
