... and IIRC the first couple of rows of the Trident, though whether the One, Two or Three escapes me. Op BE, British European Airways - and for those outside the capital, it wasn't London European Airways. That honour goes to LEA operating prop aircraft LTN-AMS for a short time before packing up.

Ah, wikipedia: 'In some configurations, BEA (later British Airways) Trident aircraft had a number of rearward-facing passenger seats, an uncommon seating arrangement for civil aircraft.'

Of course, they were single class in those days.
