I wonder if Amsterdam will be a later addition. Very surprising if it is dropped but who knows!
Gatwick to Bridgetown has been removed from the Winter 2024/2025 schedule.

BA mainline are starting daily EDI-LGW service, with similar timings to the daily Glasgow service from May.

apologies, its a Sunday only service with Cityflyer, I should check the news myself rather than relying on my other half giving me correct info 😀.

Removing Bridgetown is odd. New destination coming or smaller LGW long haul flight? The approach seems odd as this winter there will be a shorter season of flights from LGW-CPT. Also do not understand why they are removing DOH from LGW

The LGW 777 fleet is staying at 12 777s in 2024.. Hopefully, with the additional 787-10s being delivered to LHR this year this, may allow some further long haul expansion with more 777s at LGW. We shall have to wait and see what happens in 2025.
This summer the slack left by removing LGW to Doha has been taken up by increased frequency to other destinations such as Kingston, Las Vegas and Accra. The seasonal LGW to Vancouver service is also having a longer operating period this summer.

we were booked to Barbados in December from LGW and it looks like there is now an additional second daily flight from LHR that we have been shifted to. Its now a 787-9 on one rotation and 787-10 on the other from LHR. Was previously a daily 777-300 I think.

I am beginning to think there must be more to come for BA Euroflyer for Winter 2024/2025. For example, on December 16th 2024 the current schedule only requires
15 aircraft. BA Euroflyer could have a fleet of 24 by then. Even allowing for a winter maintenance programme that leaves quite a bit of slack in the fleet.
Over some winter weekends there will be a few ski charter flights but still plenty of scope for more services.

I'm not sure if the timings match, but BA have added 3 additional flights per week to GRU starting W24. A shame it's not a new route.

Also LHR to Bridgetown is being doubled in frequency, services to India may be increased and there is also the new service to Kuala Lumpur.
