You are sent to the Greenwich Lounge after 10:30pm which is open until the last OW departure.
Ughh yeah I figured but worth a shot. Thanks!

I've 11 hours between arriving from SFO and departing for LHR on Monday. Whilst I'm going to use the Soho lounge before the LHR flight, I'm also going to nip into the City for a few hours. I'm hand baggage only, but where is the best place for left luggage at JFK for a few hours please?

Tea bags are now provided by Jing upon a recent visit to SoHo — a step up from Twinings (Greenwich remained unchanged). My gut says CX must’ve been involved in this. As for champagne, Pommery and Paul Lautent rosé in SoHo and the usual Piper in Greenwich.

Really impressed with the recent upgrades. Staff are on point, menu has had an upgrade and all together feels more ‘ready’.

Was in Soho yesterday and the breakfast seems to have been enhanced since my last (and every other) visit. The OJ wasn't as nice, the sausage slices have turned into dry chipolatas and the croissants and muffins were even worse than before. They may have forgotten to turn the heater on for the egg too, or it's meant to be served almost cold, who knows.

Using the QR code from someone’s photo (I think) I can see the live ordering menu in the soho lounge (link below). Is there no champagne served at all or is it available at the bar? Thanks.

Yes there’s champagne at the bar, although what’s on offer varies. Last time I was there it was Nicolas Feuillate and before that Pommery.

Interesting, I'd much rather go to Greenwich for the Piper (assuming that's still what they have there).

Pleasant experience at JFK this am as we were the only people in the Soho lounge on arrival at 545am. A first for us!

As an aside we were also chaperoned to the front of the passport check and then security line by a lovely check in agent in the F check in area. Not sure if ‘normal practice’ - suspect we were just very lucky/possibly borderline late? Had some vocal complaints from someone in the queue/line which was a bit embarrassing for us Brits!

Did you have a connecting flight? If so, was the time between your arriving and departing flights under two hours?

Yes, that's normal for Flagship First check-in, particularly helpful if you don't have TSA PreCheck and they need to walk you across to the regular security lanes.

Normal for JFK due to the layout. the BA area spits you out at the TSA pre-check security section, and you'd have to walk against the traffic of pre-check to hook back around so they chaperone you to keep order. Would be very surprised if they just left you to your own devices as you exit the back of BA check-in!

I have to point out that all the times I used JFK premium's check-in I was flying AA after arriving internationally. Maybe there is a difference between passing through there with a BA or AA boarding pass.

Good call-out. You are definitely still in the pre-check line when you step out, however it's only 2 or so meters away from the front so the person at the end checks for TSA, and if not points you left. Definitely missing the escort, but they also get a lot more foot-fall so I guess it's fair.

Having TSA (and a carry-on), I often go through the AA check-in to get an extra 30 seconds of champagne time, but most of the time there's an active gate-policing and line forming so I just go around.
