Today's b2b to SOF pax have been given a free opportunity to stay at Sofia for the night...as the plane went tech & crew went out of hours.

I’m sure he would!

Only on FT is a 20+ hour flight delay a cause for celebration!

We weren't celebrating to be honest, would rather have gotten home to Scotland (and friends to Manchester), but it is what it is, so we decamped back to the Intercontinental for food and wine!

I really hope this is a one-and-done, if a plane goes Tech it might screw up my B2B plans (I'd like the day off between, tbh!!)

Don't worry it's Gastrocnemius fault, he's a Jonah!

I'm WFH on my two day trips.... So this could be interesting if it happens on my days.

On that, if I buy Wifi for the whole flight do you think it will work on the way back? Is it just for that flight and reset or is it for that day. If you get my drift.

For those that have managed to get there and back this month, what is on the menu for each leg?

For me, it's been:

British breakfast, or continental, or mushroom / spinach green stuff Omelette.

Ham hock, or aubergine thai curry, or shepherd's pie (with Panna cotta?, cheese etc)

Its cottage pie opposed to shepherds.

That's what the crew member called it on my last flight. No menus to say otherwise, and we know BA's food items aren't always what the real deal might be

I had a menu last week, and it said Cottage Pie (hence my correction).

Also, I think correcting someone on pies, has to be ranked as one of the most British things a British person can do!

In fact if there was a British version of a Mucci from Pucci, I think I'd deserve one!

Anyway, back to back to back.
