Funny start to the day when i noticed someone sat in my seat (1A) on boarding. She said that was her seat too so we looked at her boarding pass. She unfortunately misread & was in 11A, on this occasion post-curtain 😅.

Baby salmon for breakfast Service slow, but 31 pax in club; drinks remained empty for a LONG time at breakfast (because drinks car went down first, it was trapped behind the food car, ultimately blocking her in at the curtain). 1 man even take his own tray to the galley 😁

Let’s see what happens in an hour…

Crew believe I’m a mystery shopper, when asked why I’m quick to come back. SCM told the others to keep me filled with champagne 😅 (they did not).
Service better on way back; 2 drinks cars (1 at each end) and SCM doing the seat by seat meal service.

I tried the pasta, decent portion size but how can anyone make pasta oily (pics below). Bread was nice but I do miss the old square seeded one (the one they had in the lounges too?).

Nice to meet some other Flyertalkers, almost persuaded one to try for Gold on the lower TP requirement ( hopefully catch you on one of my SOF B2Bs if you go for it! 😉 ).

Future learnings: don’t do the early flights. It’s a looooong day! Back on the Liz line now (and the gym awaits 😖 ).
