From the data only a small percentage.
Lifelong UK resident and I was 52 this year (sob), and I know I didn’t get the vaccine.

I want to know how they ended up getting tested in SIN?

With SIN having dropped COVID testing, is this crew member sick and they just decided to test or was there random testing upon arrival?

I imagine the crew member noticed a rash developing and was taken for tests, which confirmed it was Monkeypox.

Quarantining the entire crew in Singapore for 21 days is overkill.

Smallpox vaccine does not provide life long immunity without booster vaccinations, sorry.

presumably the shared crew rest area means they’re all considered close contacts, given guidance around handling / sharing bedding etc.

It’s still totally overkill - given the nature of the virus, it should be relatively easy to arrange for transport for crew members in a way that does not pose a risk to others?

Here's a question with an interesting answer. In which country did the world's last documented death from smallpox occur?

Without looking it up, I think it was a lab leak in the UK?

Indeed. Two deeply tragic deaths, one direct and one indirect.

Although I'd put money on the last actual death from smallpox being in Russia.
