Looks like it’s going to be a very nasty 12 hours….
And there's no better place for me to batten down the hatches than LHR T3 😁

All the more unfathomable that BA will not reroute me from AMS to the US on AA instead of insisting I fly my planned itinerary of AMS-LHR-PHL-JAX. AA AMS-DFW-JAX is available in J. I’d lose F LHR-PHL but I’d rather avoid Eunice.

This is typical BA - being inflexible when it would benefit the customer (and themselves) to allow the more pragmatic routing.

I'm currently sat on the only flight to AMS today (according to BA.com departues list) for a B2B - I'm quite looking forward to a bumpy ride!

Thank you Having fun watching the planes take off and then turn off to the side. Looks like a little breeze at the moment on the tarmac but not too bad.......

Yep BA561 looks to have just aborted. For sure I assume there'll be at least a few diversions this morning when things kick properly into gear as they try to land as many planes as possible.

OK, Jerry got on his live broadcast and the first word was, of course, "EASY".
