1800 to contact gold line?

1800 to contact gold line?
I’m in Canada and trying to get through to the call centre. Have stayed in hold 2 x 60 minute calls only to be summarily disconnected, wondering if there’s a gold 1800 for Canada? The numbers I have for toll free are for calling from within UK. I’m dialling 18002479297 which answers as a Blue Member line, which so far no one answers… help!

I am at my wits' end here - been trying to call every number under the sun pretty much (UK Gold like does not connect, UK normal line neither - tried various European numbers which all disconnect after exactly five minutes..). Finally got through to someone on one of the European numbers after 20 minutes on hold, who "need to check the rules" for booking a GUF2 for departure after the voucher expires 
- she would call me back instantly. That is an hour ago... In the meantime, I have now been on hold on the US Gold number for 40 minutes and counting, guessing that I would never get called back... Being based in Asia, I obviously tried the Thai and Singaporean but they close before normal people get off work. So far, I am all-in-all, three hours in...
Any brilliant suggestions from the crowd on here?
