One World flights
Why isn't a flight that is available on the AA website available on the British Airways site?
I'm trying to find a way to use Avios to book an AA flight. I've never done this before but I thought since they were both part of One World, I would be able to book the flight on either site.
thanks

Not all flights are available for awards.

Every flight is not covered by a codeshare, and only some flights can be booked in conjunction with other flights. We need more details on what specifically you're trying to book.

Not sure how you were searching, but I just checked DSM-CZM on BA.com and there are plenty of Avios seats offered on your Feb 7 outbound...

Thanks for the screen shot. I had thought that I was checking correctly...I guess I was doing something wrong.
EDIT: Any idea why cash paying flights are not available?

With very few minor exceptions awards are booked on the airline native flight numbers. You need to book with BAEC.
A map from Great Circle Mapper - Great Circle Mapper
BA may have awards available on AA flights (as above)

Additionally, not all flights sold by AA show up on BA and vice versa

As this topic is about spending BA Avios, Ill shift it to the BA forum. Good luck with your booking.
