List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Thinking about FCO for example - Italy is basically back to normal (restaurants and bars are open).
Until the UK quarantine is over, BA passenger loads will likely not sustain their lounges opening anywhere in the world.

I suspect some of us are already find it reassuring that there is a timeline anyway. I fully understand that it is probably wiser to wait till regulations are clear to announce anything anyway, but at least it gives us a little bit of hope that this will further contribute to a small return to some normality.

If everything goes to plan, things will become clear soon. The team involved are doing their best to ensure compliance with any social distancing guidelines and are working to ensure that any plans area adaptable. Hopefully the changes will be to the liking of those using the lounges.

Continuing the theme of the pursuit of Happiness, I gather all the UK domestic lounges operated by BaxterStorey are being worked on for perhaps an August date. The exception is LGW for which I have no information.

I gather that BA are very much aware that this has got to be a key part of their proposition going forward, in terms of getting passengers back on board.

I have to say lounges are sort of the last thing that bothers me at the moment - I rather we have flights going places even without lounge provisions.

Makes sense - however the BA Lounge at FCO also serves TK - just wondering....

I have a different opinion.
Flying in paid F from HKG to EU in a couple of weeks. Can use CX lounge at HKG which remains open. But after a 13 hours flight having no lounge at LHR is extremely unpleasant. Especially since BA cancelled my second flight and I now have to wait six hours for the next flight.

Arrivals is also for people who need a quick shower and breakfast before heading into the office after an overnight flight.

What I am saying you are lucky there is a flight - I rather we have more flights/destinations than lounges restarting.

I do understand your viewpoint having read on FT all the troubles you have been going through.

Fortunately, I am traveling between two destinations where I do have several choices on a daily basis, even today.
Longhaul flight schedules have stabilized. Actually since 1 March I have flown 6 longhaul segments.
It helps that I live in Hong Kong where we never had self-isolation quarantine. Eventhough I am old and "vulnerable", I still try to make rational decisions for my work, leisure and travel.
Choosing BA today to travel in premium cabin between Asia and EU is not rational given their current proposition.
I do hesitate dropping that ticket and spending money on another airline to reduce the stress and displeasure. I know that I am privileged of having had a successful career where I can afford to choose. I still have a few days to decide and see whether I will have to suffer dramatic back pains spending six hours on a gate seat.

There are some hefty hints upthread, and depending on the exact date, and whether the relevant SI is repealed as predicted, you may be OK, including for Arrivals.

Gotcha and agree - though CX is currenlty not running F cabins so you might be best sticking to BA, unless you fancy a nice J on QR (which is what me and my wife are flying on July 3)

Do you mean the SI for the quarantine, has it heard yet in the courts?

Does that include the GLA lounge? I'm probably going to travel early/mid July and really don't want to sit at the gate prior to boarding.
