List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Then its blank underneath - shouldn't it list other airlines, or is it only Qatar? I still don't know if BA have access, my MMB just refers me back to this page. Thanks
I visited La Valette (the only lounge in Malta airport) a couple of weeks ago. I was flying Easyjet as BA had cancelled my flight to LHR so used my Dragonpass card to enter. Ordinarily they prefer you to have booked in advance though they said they would let me in (there were literally only 4 other people in the lounge). Assigned a table number and efficient food and beverage service.

Warm toast was served with packs of butter and jam on the side, earlier this week, which was very nice.

Wonderful news, thank you for sharing . As our learned colleague CWS mentions, the temperature of said "toast" is a far more significant point than the mere availability of bread that may have been wafted near to a heat source for 3 seconds.

Indeed, the million dollar question. That being said, BA are doing their utmost to prevent those outside of London actually visiting the CCT in morning hours, so my toast review will have to wait. Just yesterday, another BA trip went up in smoke and those travel funds are now in the hands of LX who have presented a much more reasonable flight schedule. This was within 14 days of travel also, so not only are BA bleeding what cash they have, they are allowing their competitors to pick up juicier fares on the back of it.

Great to hear initial feedback. I won't believe it until I see it/taste it myself

An interesting article from the OneWorld CEO:

Oneworld CEO Rob Gurney suggests that as airlines reshape their operations to suit the cost-constrained pandemic era, they'll also rethink the role of their own airport lounges in favour of sharing other consolidated spaces.

Passing through LHR this Thursday morning before heading to Greece - are the hours for the Galleries Club North lounge fairly firm or are they still very much dependant on passenger demand? Much prefer sitting out on the terrace!

Galleries Club North (open Thursday-Sunday 05:00 to 14:00 - hours may vary)

This is interesting. I think it probably slightly plays up the ability to co-locate at Heathrow. If OW airines
stay in T5 medium term I can’t see them doing anything other than using BA. If most go back to T3 the building itself makes it tricky I would think to offer a larger shared facility - even one that is a significant contraction on the combined sizes of the current lounges. T4 I know less about.

I can’t see any closed terminals opening any time soon as it is. It would be interesting to see how close T5 is too being full gate wise at the busiest times of the week, there must still be significant capacity.

From my uni days I have too many bad memories of being on early BA flights into T5 and then having to connect to T3 to fly on AA pre 10AM. That bus for terminal connections...when you're tired it's the worst.

Anyway I hope that they all can stay in T5 somehow.

In AMM, the Royal Jordanian Crown lounge is open.

In DOH, the Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Business lounge is open for oneworld first and business class ticket holders only - sort of a moot point given BA aren't currently serving the route, but relevant given BA are selling codeshare tickets.

In HKG, Cathay Pacific's The Wing First and The Wing Business are both now open with the usual access rules reverted to. Given the temporary closure of the Qantas lounge, the Plaza Premium lounge is the current designated lounge for BA.

In MAD, the Iberia Premium Lounge Dali (in T4, not T4S from where the BA flights depart) is now open again.

Wiki updated for the above.

That would mean all is not well with the world / the aviation industry. The quicker we get back to T5 being near or at capacity, the better.

For DOH, I could verify that the Al Mourjan Lounge is open and until the Business Class Lounge ( Sapphire lounge ) or the First Class Lounge ( Emerald lounge ) re-opens; oneworld Sapphire and oneworld Emerald passengers traveling in Economy could enter the lounge with one guest.

So, I have modified the WIKI.

For Berlin Brandenburg Airport, there would be three lounges that would open on the opening day.

- Lufthansa Lounge
- Lounge Tegel ( Contract lounge in Schengen area )
- Lounge Tempelhof ( Contract lounge in Non-Schengen area )

So, most probably BA would contract the Lounge Tempelhof located in the Non-Schengen gates for their flights.

I'm a bit surprised that 3 lounges will be operational from day 1, knowing the current financial difficulties the airport is going through. Looking forward to checking them out though.

The T5 FLounge is extremely quiet this morning (certainly the quietest I've seen) and while there was toast served on the full English, to say it was warm would be generous.
This was wafted near a heat source for a short period, or perhaps started from a stale starting point as it was firm, but definitely not hot or warm.

It was also served with margarine rather than butter.

The cup of tea though- when I saw it was delivered as hot water plus a tea bag I was a bit worried but it got a nice steep on and went down a treat.
