List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Absolutely zero chance while they continue with only a single LHR flight 6 days a week. Remember that AMS used to be 8x LHR, 5x LCY, 3x LGW a day. One of BA's biggest outstations by far, reduced to 6x a week with about 70-90 pax each way. With KLM running 4 or 5 LHRs depending on day of the week, plus 2 LCYs, BA's solitary effort is of no use to anyone, so no-one books it, so they don't put on more flights, so no-one flies with them etc etc.

So with Gatwick North Terminal,
As a Silver travelling Economy, would I be allowed into the Aspire lounge before the flight?

Yes, I did the same in May

Just a data point from today. The BCN AENA Pau Casals Lounge is not open to BA pax as it is in the Schengen zone. The lounge that is open for BA pax, is located in the international section after Passport control called the AENA Joan Miro Lounge.

Saw that the AMS route will be going back to 30+ weekly as of September. BA Twitter could only forward me the link to the BA website that does not have a single point of information. Hopefully will hear more on the reopening in the upcoming weeks.

The Joan Miro lounge is the usual one used by BA (pre-pandemic) and the one now shown on the oneworld website. I've updated the wiki.

No chance, it will be trimmed shortly.

EDIT: So when I said shortly, I didn't atually mean 35 minutes later, but BA have just made the next set of cancellations for AMS for the first two weeks of September, back to 1 or 2 a day.

Sat in the Spitfire Lounge at Southampton which is open to BA Club, Silver and Golds, and…

…Costa Coffee customers who are filing into the lounge to get a coffee from the buffet. The staff actually told them to do this as the Costa queue was so long. Quite a lot of confusion about who should actually be in the lounge now as some have also been invited to sit down inside and the poor lady on reception wasn’t even told what was happening.

If you know the eligibility rules for entry you should have offered yourself as a consultant to the lounge agent to determine who is allowed access and who isn’t
