Are the flights still banned? From what I can see the UK ban lifts on 15APR.... perhaps that'll be extended next week but who knows 🤷🏻♂️ ... the ban is a UK one and not a Brazilian/Argentinian one as far as I can see.
If it does go ahead I'd imagine they'll be pretty lightly loaded up top with all the restrictions in place at both ends. Residents of Brazil/Argentina are still able to travel there. As are residents of the UK coming back..... plus the associated red list hotel quarantine stay and testing costs. Those in transit via LHR may be a consideration. As may cargo below in the hold.

No-one can enter Brazil if they have been in the UK in the past 14 days - the Brazilian ban was imposed before the UK ban.
Where can you see that the UK ban lifts on 15 April ? (curious to know where these things are published)

Lift was probably a bad word on my part. The ban imposed is due to EXPIRE on 15APR hence the introduction on 23APR of the GRU/EZE service.

Im surprised Quimper got such an extension. I (wrongly) assumed Brittany holidays would have dried up by October. I went in August before and the weather wasn’t great...

I'm interested in the the Punta Cana route (LGW-PUJ). It looks like BA has moved a lot of their other Caribbean routes to Heathrow as well as Orlando so I'm just wondering what long-haul leisure routes this is going to leave at Gatwick? I guess Cancun, Kingston, Port of Spain?

As far as I am aware, the tentative ‘plan’ for W21,
ANU, UVF, BGI, KIN, MBJ, CUN, PUJ, SJO, MRU, TPA and ISB/DOH/ACC (These three are ‘in theory’)
with SKB, PLS, POS as add ons to the ANU
it’s a long way off and anything could change but that’s what’s planned.
Just a side note, currently BDA is the only route that has moved from LGW to be an LHR only route.
BGI and MCO will both operate from LHR but will remain seasonal at LGW, MCO summer/BGI winter.
UVF and ANU are to operate from LHR but until anything changes those two are in addition to LGW and will operate mid July to Mid September.

Although some destinations in pre covid times may be less popular later in the season, I guess BA are thinking if things start moving mid summer (hope beyond all hope) then people may still chance their arm later into September into October for a foreign get away

Just as a random update, while passing through T5 on Saturday, I heard LHR are planning to reopen T3 from June (which is what I heard previously from some COVID testing companies) and BA will only move short haul to T3 for the summer season if that happens (the destinations that previously operated from T3)
