Did BA just drop Helsinki?

I just received two emails for my flights in November with BA to Helsinki to say that they are cancelled and offering to rebook me.
Has BA dropped the destination?
I rebooked on to Finnair codeshares on the BA web site - and received confirmations.
Finnair has given me crappy seats, and I cannot fix on line, but will do that when everything settles down.

Same happened to me for my HEL trips in April (as I expected), and in August (less expected). Got good seats, but would've been good to realise during rebooking that these were Finnair codeshares, so I could've angled to rebook onto the A330 service with the layflat seats...

There was talk of this yesterday but for the life of me I canít think which thread as there are so many related CV-19 and flight issues.

I believe @florens mentioned it...

Judging by the pre-Covid19 AY metal J prices for LHR-HEL that is going to be an expensive route if BA has dropped their last daily flight. It was always way cheaper than the AY flights

FWIW You can rebook to AY for free.

However, you won't likely be traveling April or May due to the Covid-19 situation.

Same here too. Just received an email to say that my September flights to HEL have been cancelled.

Thanks for the heads-up @florens - didn't know you could rebook with AY for free.

Seat selection on codeshares has been a bug for years. Use the chat function on AY's website to select your preferred seats.

Had the same for my September trip to HEL - had rubbish seats too Markie but was able to change on Royal Jordanian website (neither BA nor AY would let me). Hope that helps!

Although it says I can use MMB to cancel and get full refund when I try that itís greyed out.

Not sure if that is because I booked hotel as well do as a BA holiday booking.

Do I need to wait until three days before the departure date before I ring up or could I cancel via Twitter?
