For those who state Sarajevo, Tbilisi and Baku a kind reminder that Wizzair has removed their London ( Stansted or Luton ) to Tbilisi & Baku services and AZAL have removed their Heathrow service so this could mean that there isn't enough demand for those destinations.
As 13901 mentioned, it is more likely that BA would add more frequencies to Spanish leisure destinations rather than adding flights to destinations that they don't fly.
For the Asia part, the reason because USA travel is dead is border restrictions; as we expect Asian countries to open their borders later than the USA, I would expect more services to Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale ( maybe from Heathrow ) when the USA allows travelers from the UK.

However, the LHR service only runs in peak summer (27th June - 3rd Sept).
It seems odd to me they didn’t just move the LGW route back up to LHR (which is likely to happen later down the line anyway).

I don't know how much truth there is in this, but friends in BA Ops are saying that the airline is investigating the opportunity of having flights from LHR to MCO on an A380 if/when flights are allowed to resume (so in the summer, pending of course the findings of the Governmental working group due for release in April).
I know MCO is theoretically A380-capable but the idea of a 380-load of families going to Disneyland is as close to my idea of hell as it gets.

I also wouldn't be surprised if other A380 capable leisure destinations would see the superjumbo if there is enough demand: Some examples are Las Vegas, Miami, Dubai ( though it's leisure + business ).

Do keep up updating new routes. Since BA Travel Trade stopped sending notification of new destinations - i've relied on FT for a number of holidays now using notifications to grab hold of Avios seats during school holidays. I've been to Krakow, Gran Canaria at Christmas and last year jumped on Antalya (then cancelled) & Thessaloniki using advanced notice of new flights on here. Now looking for this summer, but don't fancy Menorca! (A roundabout way of saying that it is appreciated to those who update these threads )

Wonder how much effort is needed to remove some A380 CW seating and replace with additional WT+ to suit the leisure routes? The CW seats on the upper deck are in two separate cabins and you could remove rows 57-59 (28 seats) and replicate the existing WT+ cabin adding a further 55 WT+ seats. Even Emirates now have a Premium Economy on their latest A380s.

I (as I’m sure others do) enjoy keeping this thread up to date and maybe post COVID changes we should have a thread for BA’s routes/destinations which is easily accessible.

... but 303 Y plus a few YQs from Avios tickets plus a few upgrades and only one flight crew might actually make it work out quite well for them for peak holiday weeks. Smart move.
