And the vast majority of people in the real world (i.e. those not on FT/HFP/etc.) don’t or won’t know the difference anyway.

I may have written too soon. My booking for mid-February now looks in jeopardy, as I see the direct flights down to 3x a week until mid-February, and all direct flights in February are zeroed-out in EF.

I think EF is showing a lot of flights as zeroed out from USA point of sale. So it may be that

For anyone interested, Loganair will be launching new Heathrow to Teesside flights in March. They will have a codeshare with BA and so flights should be bookable on ba.com.

A few updates:
  • Kuala Lumper will not resume in March, so the final flight has already taken place and the route is now axed.
  • Antalya will now launch from Heathrow not Gatwick. The provisional start date is 2nd April 21.
  • London City to Manchester is scheduled to resume on 18th Dec 21.
  • BACF will return to Stansted on 18th Dec 21, operating winter flights to Berlin and Chambery.

BA would wait until the latest they are able to do to adjust their May & onwards schedule. There is still no clue how the world would look in the summer or fall and how border restrictions would evolve.

Most likely we would hear something late-March or early/mid-April about the next batch of updates.

That's a shame. Was handy if reward flights to SIN had gone, there was usually still some availability to KUL!

My flight from MCO to LHR in May now showing as being operated by a 777 in a high density configuration (32J/48W/252Y). It appears to be planned to begin flying to MCO from 1st May.

If this is the case, I wonder will a few of these be based up at LHR, meaning Accra could be moved back to LHR and served on the right configured aircraft.

Possibly. It wouldn’t surprise me if they base more of the hi density aircraft at LHR this summer.

Looks like they are already planning to use more than 1 next winter. Expertflyer is currently showing a hi-density 777 seat map for the daily flights to MCO and PHL from 1st November.

Jase76 Did you get anywhere with your flights? BA offered to change my tickets to QR which was great, however it had to be like for like dates. As the situation with Covid continues and Korea still have their strict 2 week quarantine in place, I decided to cancel and have everything refunded.
