I would much rather fly to Coventry than take my usual train. I have to commute between Coventry and London at least two days per week.

I am so sorry to hear that. I know this is supposed to be a light-hearted thread but that makes me sad.

Good news - all wine merchants are deemed to be essential - so can stay open......... Another glass anyone?

Rather than giving the position in the queue or expected wait time BA should give the IATA code of the airport you could fly to in the expected wait time. Obviously only from LHR and they have an extra 3 hours to add before owing any compensation. (All calls will be answered 'long haul').

Not only will this give some only vaguely useful information, but also provide a quiz on airport codes to keep you entertained while you wait.

When Ocado are delivering M&S food, if they start doing same day deliveries like Sainsbury's then BA could also offer 'BoB'...

Obviously there would be options of POUG PTUG your position at any random point while listening to music, and prices for customisation such as other music.

BA have announce they have run out of toilet roll and so now passengers will have to use lettuce leaves.

I fear it is the tip of the iceberg!

Please keep the humour coming !!! Now 6 hrs since i started to try and edit my Ocado order and still not managed. When I do, I think I will add several litres of spirits to anaesthetise me against the stress of trying to place the next order. I have been Gold for so long, that I have forgotten what it is like to have to take ones turn in a queue with the rest of the world
