Has this airframe also been fitted with the latest First seat / suite, or has it just had 6 of the older F seats ripped out and 8 of the same left in?

Was fully fitted out with the new F including doors and non-buddy F seating.

CS on the 77W - rows 7/12/14 are all single window rows. The positioning of the blank at 14 more likely to affect 15 mind.

On the 77L (772 C/S no F) it is rows 7/10 and 14

77M (772 with C/S and F) it is rows 8 (one seat on the right hand side only) 12 and 17

Am I right in thinking that all flights advertised as a 77W with 8 seats in F will have the new F product with doors?

G-YMMT has now completed refit into the 272 seat 3-class club suites “77L” configuration. There are now just 4 777-200s left to do (MMA, MMR, MMS, MMU) all into “77L” configuration.

All the other -200s are now in either LGW-refreshed or LHR club-suite configurations. So 39/43 complete on the -200s.

Is there anyway to know if an 8 F seat 772 has the new F seats?

I am pretty sure that NONE of the 772s have or are getting the new F seat.

As HFHFFlyer says, the 772s do not have new F. 8 F seats on a 772 will be the original 2010 Prime product (with refreshed fabrics and linings), whilst 8 F seats on a 77W will have the latest product with doors.

Thank you both. I was aware of the 77W situation but not that the 772 will not be getting the new seats.

Having had a nosey online at both "old" and new F cabins, I think I prefer the aesthetics of the old one in comparison. Haven't tried the new one out yet though.

I can't speak for the new 77W seat, but as it's essentially the same as the 787 seat (which I have flown), I hope the durability of the materials have been upgraded! Whilst the old 777 seat feels a little tighter, it's stood the test of time well.

Has G-STBI been to CWL as am on it this week and its not flown since 30th April

I wouldn’t read too much into an aircraft not being used for a few days. YMMU was recently on the ground for nearly two months: it’s been in service again the last week or so and still flying around its clapped out cabin.
