No, that's not a wikipost - that's just a quote of something that someone else posted somewhere on the internet.

Although, as I said, in this case it's a respected source.

A wikipost looks like this: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showwiki.php?t=1930092 (at the top of Club Europe catering | menus, reviews and photos).

777-200ers not getting a new seat, just 6 being removed.

That's disappointing, no new seat?
The misses and I are in F on FL238 BOS-LHR in April. She has 2A, I have 3A. If they remove six seats, will we be affected, assuming we get a retrofitted plane.
I guess they'd reassign us seats but I'd prefer not to lose my window seat.

Ba 112 a350

According to onemileatatime http://bit.ly/2MkaU1
BA 112 will be operated by an updated 777 for winter season. I’m booked on it 29 Nov but it’s showing as 744. Is BA.com up to date or is the blog incorrect?

Yes. The JFK route got its first refurbed 777 today (G-RAES) it’s operating BA173.

As reported in a few places there will be a refurbed 777 operating BA112 as well.

in December it seems to switch as my BA112 is on a 747 whilst the outbound 175 is a refurb.

Just had a look and BA173 on 17th December doesn't seem to be a refurb, but looks like BA175 and BA177 are.

Does anyone know what date they swap from the BA173?

don't know for sure but when the refurbed B772 was meant to enter service on / around 27th October, it was going to be on the 177 (and 175). my 177 in early Nov is still showing as NWS so without going into EF and looking at it daily, my guess is that 27/28 Oct is the swap date.

Note that google flights shows Club Suite operated flights as "Individual Suite" when you expand the details, so you can quickly identify which flights have it without having to delve into a seat map or manage booking. This is the quickest way I've been able to identify Club Suite activity in the coming months.

Probably at this period of time we should all know that there is no guarantee to fly a 777 with the new club suite until 3 hours before departure.

Agree, I was going to suggest that 777 fleet is clearly the largest within Long Haul ops for BA and what with the frequency of the JFK route, there is surely going to be a lot of juggling of aircraft. 777’s can be easily placed elsewhere at anytime. So whilst we can hope that a refurbed 777 with Club Suites appears on these JFK flight numbers, I wouldn’t like put all my eggs there

Personally I’d be quite happy on a refurbed 747 upper deck for JFK.
