When I heard they were upgrading the WTP menu, I didn't realise they were talking about the actual menu itself - folded over I see rather than single-sided card. I wonder if this means they'll print what the drinks selection is within it, so you have advance warning of your wine?

That's impressive based on the roll out speed for recent CW changes.

Based on the original post and the additional comment from CIYH it definitely looks promising. It really is about time that WTP has a decent makeover, and improved F&B (especially for the second meal) is well overdue.

Any chance of a retro-fitted calf rest for each seat?

Handy as I'm flying WT+ on the 9th Feb.
Whether I've over-indulged on cheese etc. in the lounge first, and can't stomach anything else, I'll have to wait and see.

Thanks for the info. Very pleased I'll experience the new menu, and possibly the new bedding. Its really good that the second meal has a hot element too.

One of the biggest complaints myself and others have had about the onboard experience is that after the first meal it morphs into economy with the second meal, and T&Cs service in paper cups. If they are extending the experience throughout the flight- good for BA

One small question, does it mean I get something more substantial flying into London from Toronto for breakfast?

Hope they are improving the breakfast offering on overnight flights. A cereal bar is an insult!

They are, I don’t know exactly what is going to be served on the short overnight flights but it will include a hot element.

I've had worse-looking meals served in CW.

Good luck with the reality, rather than the marketing!

so economy and PE now get cheese since the WT enhancements last year(albeit a wrapped small slab and 2/3 water biscuits - I don't see them rolling this back

Hopefully, there will be more info and sample menus to curb our appetite for information. I think guessing on the detail of the tray on one post is pre-empting what we can look forward to.

For one, I see it as a positive move, and whilst we can argue for or against one particular element, I am pleased that BA are taking a positive step and upping their game in what is probably the first significant enhancement for PE since its launch. (bar seats and IFE on newer aircraft)

I look forward to seeing the detail and will resist pre-empting what the offering may be. One good thing which BA do well from Heathrow is a decent curry with the trimmings. I don't know if folk will TUPE over from the current supplier, but the curry, dal etc which are produced at Heathrow are top notch (if a bit lacking in quantity) and hopefully remain as part of the enhancements.
