Current methods to check fare/booking class availability:
If you are requesting flight load / class availability, please provide the following:
1. Actual travel date (don't say tomorrow, or similar, as that is ambiguous given the global flyertalk membership)
2. Departure and arrival airport codes
3. Flight number
Thanks!

I am primarily an AA flyer. I do use ba with ff miles often. I currently have tickets on BA for April 28 cpt/lhr/iad in Business. The original seat plan on ba.com showed 777 with no F. I had booked seats 2a &3a. A couple of weeks ago ba changed them to 5a & 6a. But when I try to book seats on ba for the same date it shows nothing? Can any one give me some guidance?

Is this for the first or second leg? Are both legs on the same date? Perhaps you could provide flight numbers to help us investigate, too.

On ExpertFlyer, BA58 (CPT-LHR) on 28/4/22 (arriving 29/4/22) shows 5A/6A as occupied and 2A/3A as available. The aircraft is a 777 with no F cabin.

BA217 (LHR-IAD) on 29/4/22 shows 5A/6A (in J) as occupied. The aircraft is a 777 with rows 1/2 in F and rows 7/17 in J - there are no rows 3/4.

Are these your flight numbers? The J cabins on both flights are in a 1-2-1 layout so presumably have Club Suites?

I'd just like to check if First is being booked up on the following flight please. It's a way off so I'll be periodically checking in as I get closer to departure.

BA0251
LHR-SCL

Many thanks!

Yes they are. BA#58 on the BA manage my booking only shows busines starting at row 5 so I can't rebook seats 2&3a?

It doesn't look like it. BA (and ExpertFlyer) isn't showing any F availability on that flight, so there shouldn't be any reason why the rows in MMB start at 5.

It's still 4 months away though, and maybe BA are allowing for a future equipment change that could include F seating?
