Need a year-end TP run (ex-LON) to make / retain status?
Some tips for searching for the year-end TP run for newcomers, the below is indicative only, but hopefully provides a bit of guidance for relatively straightforward runs ex-LON. Some information on how to use ITA matrix is in post 4 of this thread (or just click here) along with these ideas, might come in handy. Feel free to share results, problems or general questions in the thread as these may not always work and there might be better deals out there...
For overnight trips remember to check BA and Iberia for their flights and hotel option as well, can get hotel for almost no extra cost at times
Need 80 TPs or fewer
Club Europe return somewhere close by is best - DUB, AMS and JER usually cheapest along with UK domestic returns. Additionally you may find that trips in to mainland Europe require a one night stay whereas the cheapest domestic CE returns do not have any minimum stay so can be booked as a same day return. If doing a back to back AMS and JER can be easier than DUB for an immediate turnaround - more information can be found in the back to back thread listed in the forum dashboard. The BA.com low fare finder can be very useful.
If you need as few as 45 TPs you might consider booking economy flights and hoping for a proactive online upgrade offer - but they're not guaranteed to materialise (so not one if you have no more time left in your TP collection year). Alternatively, booking a return to one of the 40 tier point destinations with one way in CE and the return in ET (or vice versa if cheaper). UK domestic route, Bilbao, Jersey and Amsterdam seem the most cost effective for this.
Need 85-120 TPs
Iberia flights via MAD to regional Spanish airports will get you 120 TPs as the domestic Spanish flights are 20 TPs in business. Under £300 including hotel can be available. Check BIO, GRX, VLC, BCN, SVQ etc. Example here
Need 125-160 TPs
Take a look at the shorthaul plus routes earning 80 TPs each way in business listed in the first post of this thread (here), MLA, IST, HEL and RAK are usually available. If time sensitive take a look at BA flight and hotel option to HEL, where you can usually get the BA flight out on a Saturday, airport hotel and return on Sunday for well under £500.
Alternative options include positioning to JER and flying JER-LGW-XXX (AMS usually works well and avoids switching airports).
Need more than 160 TPs
You'll most likely be heading north then - OSL or VNO via HEL will get you 240 TPs, as will JER-LGW/LHR-HEL e.g. LHR-HEL-OSL for £520.
DUB-LHR-HEL return (or return to LHR) is currently a very efficient way of hitting 200-240 TPs

Picking up an earlier thread about getting 300ish tier points before the 8th of Feb reset - and with thanks to among other Flying Yazata and alex67500 - it looks like a good option is;
4th LHR - HEL
5th HEL - AGP
5th AGP - HEL
6th LHR - HEL
This comes in under £1k (around £1k with airport hotel) so not the most optimum tier point run ever but with time being premium. The timings of the flights doesnt work doing it over two days (unless I am missing something) - this works for me time wise - just a quick check if the 50 minuter turn-around time in AGP is fesible? B2B thread says it is excellent for Schengen and assuming its the same aircraft going back again.
Ready to press button - so just a final double check I have not missed anything

Nice to hear you took advantage of the advice. Sure, not the cheapest combination, but you highlighted time, so I thought that might be one for you. I personally don't count pennies in terms of TPs, but I know some are very obsessed with the £ per TP.

Based on the dates, I assume you're doing a daytime run? The nocturnal one would've saved you one hotel night. It's doable with a Sa or Su departure, not other weekdays. Don't look all too much at the B2B thread in this subforum. It's BA focused. But yes, I can vouch for the B2B with AY. You'll even have time to get bored in the gate area, once you've exited the aircraft at AGP.

Pleased with the routing and surprised I got the Transcon in as I only put it into Matrix as a test. Previously I was looking at heading to LGA to take a flight to CLT so really pleased.

It is certainly possible to get at least 840 TPs for about £1235, so under £1.5 per TP. (apologies Wilsnunn - I don't know how to multiquote!)
HNL-GEO appears to work both ways and doing HNL-LAX-LAS-JFK-GEO rtn (or vv) nets 920TP @£1.38 each; however, I have yet to find anything reasonable to either HNL or GEO from LON or an exEU...anyone else had any joy?

DUB: £1881 (DUB-LHR-JFK-GEO) for 640TPs
KEF: £1938 (KEF-LHR-JFK-GEO) for 720TPs
Note that I did not check that the dates/timings of these work with the GEO flights (or indeed that GEO-HNL works)

Had a quick look for flights to GEO and I found a few, not particularly good, but if combined with your 920TP @ £1.38 per TP, it does still come in at under £2 per TP.
DUB: £1881 (DUB-LHR-JFK-GEO) for 640TPs
KEF: £1938 (KEF-LHR-JFK-GEO) for 720TPs
Note that I did not check that the dates/timings of these work with the GEO flights (or indeed that GEO-HNL works)

DUB-LHR-JFK-LAX-HNL-LAX-JFK-LHR-DUB £2411 for 920 TP (2.6£/TP) https://flights.app.goo.gl/QH3Uz
HNL-PHX—JFK-GEO-JFK-PHX-LAX-HNL £1156 for 880 TP £1.31£/TP https://flights.app.goo.gl/ezmqu
If you combine the two this gives you 1800 TPs for £3567 which is £1.98 £/TP. Now obviously, you can do some experimenting to maximise the dates and I suspect you may be able to get the total trip down to around £1.6/TP. You can obviously get better TP to £ ratios and if your starting off in the US, the HNL to GEO is an example, but if your Europe based, and want 1800 TPs and are time poor, this is a way to do it.
Going the opposite direction is possible as a TP run, but you will get less TPs and the value isn't so good, for example
DUB-LHR-JFK-GEO-JFK-LHR-DUB for £1889 for 640 TP £2.95/TP https://flights.app.goo.gl/3Y2a1
GEO-JFK-PHX-LAX-HNL-LAX-PHX-JFK-GEO £1312 for 920 TP £1.43/TP https://flights.app.goo.gl/rduzE
Total £3201 for 1560 TPs which is £2.05/TP. this is 240 less TPs, for £366 then flying out to HNL and then using the deal. Obviously it has the advantage of being slightly cheaper and less flying, if you only needed 1560 TPs, such as if you wanted to fly it just after your collection year reset to attain gold for the year and the next, you may prefer it.
post posting note\: I have subsequently used ITA matrix to see if I can optimise the fare, Flying Dub- HNL and then HNL-GEO. best I can get from my quick search is £3453.27 for 1840 TPs £1.87/TP.

Distant-wise maybe, but the real marathon DO itinerary was for last summer Thread available BA PANAMA DO June 2019 16 segments! That many is no longer possible, unfortunately.
The HNL-GEO deal was originally posted in the general Premium Fare Deals. Thread available here . In this thread, the dominating interests seem to be on TP optimisation. As this fare has the potential of getting a lot of attraction, my suggestion is that all further discussion is made in the PFD thread, just as everything around the DXB/AUH-CGK deal is continuously monitored in the original thread, also in the PFD forum.

Thanks to all on this thread -- just booked my first ever TP runs to PDX and SIN!
I've been BAEC Gold for the last 6 years, but won't requalify on regular flying alone. My current collection year ends on 8 Sep, but my card will hold until 31 Oct. So, I figured if I can smash it to 1500 TPs between 8 Sep and 31 Oct, I can ensure Gold until 31 Oct 2022...
For PDX, I went with the itinerary below. It's not the cheapest routing out there, and I will be dropping the final segment, but (i) I can do it with only one day off work, (ii) I'll take the inefficiency for a run I can do in and out of London without repositioning, (iii) I get to try the new Club Suite and (iv) I'm really looking forward to a gut-busting Saturday in Portland. That'll get me 680 TPs. Am I right in thinking that the LHR-MAN leg (as it has a BA flight number) will count toward my 4 flights on BA metal?
I've also booked a combination of BA/QR tickets for LHR-SOF-DOH-SIN-DOH-SOF-LHR for £1538.74 total, which will be another 720 TPs. That'll leave me an easy 100 TPs short. (PS - The LHR-SOF-LHR leg was £262.34 for 160 TPs, which is a pretty good £1.63/TP if anyone needs a quick top up.)
Thanks again everyone!
