I know it's hardly obvious from my profile, but I am actually British. Complaining about something this inane is anything but surprising for a Brit.

Sing along with me this morning everyone!
"Peanuts, almonds, cashews and walnuts...these are some of the nuts I love."
"Pistachios, hazelnuts, Nutella*, Kellogg's Crunchy Nut* and peanut butter*!"
"From California to the Middle East to the Far East"
"From breakfast to lunch to dinner and supper"
"Munch munch munch, what a spectacular feast!"
"Have them in cakes and biscuits for an afternoon treat!"
"Have them in icecreams, chocolate or anything else sweet"
"Crunch crunch crunch, roast them, grind them, sprinkle them, do what you to them!"
"Eat them, savour them, snack on them, nuts are for any occasion, no problem!"
*contains nuts

Given this is BA we're talking about, you're more likely to hear: "I'm sorry sir/madam, I'm afraid the only thing we have got left are Percy Pigs."

I'd like to nominate this as thread of the year.
though in the spirit of not veering off topic, i must mention that nuts are good when eaten room temperature too, and you don't need to gamble about the texture when served that way.

I wish I hadn’t started Googling.
Roasted cashews recipe, and why you should soak nuts.
The best unsolicited advice I ever got from a random old lady at the Park Slope Food Co-op was to soak my nuts.
Soaking your nuts before you roast them will greatly enhance their flavor.
Good nuts come to those who wait:

Nuts
I'm a man who likes my nuts at room temperature, but BA keeps warming them up pre-departure, which I believe softens their naturally taut consistency.
I have on occasion considered asking CC to stop warming my nuts, but I don't want to be perceived as a ball-breaker.
Are warm nuts a matter of policy, or can I ask for my nuts to be served in their natural state?

Seriously??!!
I am asounded that the temperature of this flyer's FREE NUTS is even worthy of a discussion. It's a perk dude or didette. Don't eat them if you don't like them. I think a more worthy discussion is flight safety, discrimination on board, or unruly , rude passengers!
