Having your nuts at the proper temperature is very important.

Yes, these things are important. If we do not fight to maintain PROPER standards, we will sink into the abyss and become a backwater in the World/Europe ... ummm ...

Please, sir, a big boy told me to say that.

As I sit here in Coach safely belted in
My thoughts never stray to the ramekin
Nuts be stone cold or hot
I think of them not
Mother warned me about that kind of sin

I fear the only way this mass debate will be resolved is to undertake a period of study and research within the world's foremost nut handling establishments.

Sounds like a hard job, but if one of our stalwart members could rise to the occasion, then we could put this one firmly to bed.

"What is a nut?" the Colonel asked.
"The bit in the middle, Sir!' replied the Major.
"But how hot should a nut be?"... his face glowing!.
"Have you met Nurse Eloise, Sir? ...
She can adjust the heat by blowing."

Oh BA you warmed my nuts
Despite the in-flight budget cuts
I doth restrain
From feeling pain
But now they’re somewhere in my guts

Oh ‘twas a day when flying J
The temperature was held in sway
Truth be told
Put me in the hold
My nuts resting on a tray

Oh my nuts yearn for movement south
The climate burns - is parched in drouth
But, one final hitch
To relieve my itch
I can scratch them from my mouth

Oh, QueenOfCoach,
What have you begun?
Poesy unfettered.
In the interests of fun?

Let me lay before you,
Ramekin not needed,
Nuts at the heat of your choice,
And saltiness unheeded.

The endless choice of grape,
The offer of Chicken or Beef,
Compares not with the Nut enigma,
... oh, bugger, what rhymes with Beef?

I think you mis-interpret the British sense of humour.

I suspect this one was definitely tongue in cheek. Although you can be excused for thinking otherwise considering some of the complaints you see on here.

I'm just waiting for the ''Yet another enhancement...BA ice cubes have got smaller'' thread.

To be honest, I thought this was a thread about cabin temperatures.

We once sent the nuts back on AA as they were not warm enough. After some delay they were returned, the ramekins being held in a towel. They didn't actually melt the tray table but we had to eat them very slowly. Be careful what you ask for
