Well, having missed out on my Aviator Facial at the Elemis Spa prior to my F on Thursday morning, I've now perked up no end knowing that I can look forward to the CSM warming my nuts.
Just so that I can fully prepare for the experience, will this be pre-takeoff or once airborne?

We are BRITISH. Tea bagging should only happen in the galley.

On a VS flight 3 years ago I looked around & couldn't find my nuts anywhere, a distressing matter as i'm sure you will appreciate. Having the window seat I asked OH if she'd mind grabbing the stewardess as she came by. Being in a foul mood as it was a red eye flight she barked that I should sort my own nuts out. I told her fine but I may be twenty minutes or so. OH knowing my appreciation of the VS CC ladies in particular stayed up all night and timed my bathroom breaks. All that over a a pack of cashews

Goodness me, no. The worst abuses of tea-making abroad come about when one is presented with a no-longer boiling pot/cup of warm water and a tea bag which cannot then be inserted at the correct temperature as it is far too late.

QR are the worst for this. No idea how to do this properly. I had to give the cabin crew a masterclass in tea bagging in the bar of the A380 recently. They gathered around and watched as I demonstrated with one of them and then they all gave it a go. Very messy, fluids everywhere. I can’t imagine what it would be like with a Virgin crew.
Sometimes the only way to explain tea bagging is via a demonstration. And if you're doing it on a plane where you don't have warm nuts... well, it just isn't British.

I love nuts warm or cold, as long as they have more cashews
AA gives warm nuts in domestic First and they are usually crispy and they are my favorite. However on my recent BA flights, in CW it was at room temperature and in F it was hot and too soft to enjoy the nut taste. May be I should have waited, but was difficult to keep staring at the nuts
