Where has all the CX Avios availability gone?

I assume it’s just an IT issue, but there is currently nothing showing to any or the Australian destinations, even 355 days out, when there is always plenty of availability.

Is it just me or is there a known issue?

Others have reported a similar issue. Have a look at these recent threads:

AA availability has been a more longstanding problem. ba.com even had warning about this. Some have reported success recently though. See:
Using Avios to book American Airlines flight in US
Sorry we can't show you AA reward flights...

I noted the LH CX award flights no longer showing whilst looking to book 50% Y sale award flights. eg nothing CX HKG-LHR , CX HKG-AMS, although when BA 50%award sale first went live, search at that time showed the CX awards did too

I could still see SH CX flights, eg CX HKG-BKK though

I put it down to CX/BA doing this dissapearing act whilst CX were rejigging there award miles during early June ?

Though not only CX dissapeared but so did MH and QR that I used to see on looking for MNL-LHR as awards. However cheaper taxwise for me (same avios 7500 + 20/30k) to book separate MNL-HKG / HKG-LHR bearing in mind zero -surchages from HKG so not worried.

I managed to get 2 CX from HKG-CNS in J for May 19. That was booking it at T-355. Booked through the BA website so I didn't have any problems.

When did you redeem the 2 seats? The issue appears after 22 Jun (Hong Kong Time). Much normal availability before that.

ive been monitoring SYD-HKG for 21JAN19 in Premium on CX, and up until about 2 weeks ago availability was 6 seats on most of their flights IIRC. Now there is nothing, not even economy. What is odd, is when I do a connecting journey (i.e. SYD-HKG-MAN) for the same dates, there is availability in Premium. I've sent an email form to BA to query where the availability has gone.

Availability seems indeed back, but if I look for direct flights only, say HKG-LHR, I see no flights available, while if I search, say, PEN-LHR on the same dates, I see there are CX flights PEN-HKG-LHR. Same departing europe. Has always been this way?
I only recently took interest in CX long haul, so I have no experience about it.

I thought to call tomorrow BA and see if I can have just the direct long haul without the short sector, hoping it will work.

So you booked it a couple of weeks ago 5/19 - 355 days? That was before the current issues.
