Regarding BA, do we know this for sure? It would be interesting to know how much BA is charged (and for that matter, how much BA charge other airlines), or whether such charges are not incurred as part of the oneworld alliance agreement.

No different to many other airlines in that respect.

Shame you missed out on GF which is a nice lounge (in some respects I prefer it over the CCR), and especially the excellent CX lounge .AA nothing to write home about, although that's due to change too.

Whilst it's unfortunate the lounge agent didn't direct you to the Galleries First lounge, on the wall facing you as you walk in to the lounge complex there's a fairly large sign pointing First to the left and Club to the right...

So did CX F, CX J and GF. On balance, CX J got my overall vote. Light, bright, and a barman able to mix cocktails. Although the breakfast choice in CX F, and Champagne in GF, are better.

Just settling into an AY J seat. It's nowhere near as bad as the forum would suggest. I guess many years of Y travel has made me less critical of the incremental differences in J!

The QF lounge is due to open in 'the autumn' now, so should be in the next month or so, although the date keeps getting pushed back. It won't follow the same design as HKG, it's a bit of a unique design. Some CGIs here: https://www.qantas.com/travel/airlin...unge/global/en
Thanks you ^

I'm sure @G-ARVE would agree that BA T3 GF's furniture was also tired, with stained carpets, whilst the brass also being unpolished

HKG it is not, purely from a size perspective, but the fact that CX have taken this concept to a much smaller format for an outstation shows that they are committed to delivering a high quality, premium product. Not like BA, at home base.
Indeed I do agree. Although I can't recall there being any brasswork in T3 GF to go unpolished! Some of the furniture is a health hazard. Frankly, a disgrace.

Am a fan of QF's SYD F lounge, my favourite by some way. A lot going on but everything seems to hang together just right. If they create something similar in T3 then I won't be looking anywhere else.

No black pudding but the Full English is pretty good and I quite like the Barons de Rothschild Brut NV too.

Excellent review but what is being asked for is the breakfast menu.

I'm sure that this is shown somewhere else but which F destinations fly from T3?

Hi,

From T3

HKG is Cathay only
LAX is AA
JFK is AA
HND is JAL ( may have shifted to NRT)
DXB/SYD is QF/Emirates

For BA destinations in addition to Mikeyfly's list,

YVR,Denver,Accra &,NBO ( not sure if the last three have F)
