New Club World Service 2017
Effective July 6, 2018, new bedding products expected to be on all Club World flights, worldwide (including LHR, LGW and LCY services).

Returned on BA12 from Singapore over the weekend, outbound to HK with the new service, inbound without
In terms of the overall experience i would give the outbound a solid 8 for a longhaul J flight, the combination of the new service, great price and good quality cabin crew all contributing positively, i can see this edging towards a 9 as the crew become more accustomed to the service
In terms of the inbound a standard 6, things like the pillow and the blanket do make a difference to the amount of sleep and comfort on a long haul, noticeable difference in the quality of the food as well
I do 6-8 long haul trips to the FE each year in J/F - generally on Qatar/Emirates and i would have no issue switching to BA for a direct service on routes with the new service
YMMV obviously but i was quite impressed, cabin crew seemed quite proud as well and that helped

Finally experienced the new catering on BA 178. A couple comments:
(1) overall much improved
(2) if the idea is to take two starters - why dont they both fit on the tray??
(3) mains, at least for breakfast, still quite uninspired.
