For FTers who like Blue Top Monopole, or long for the golden period of CE travel, then you will be pleased to know it is reduced to £18 with a further 25% off when you buy six bottles at Sainsbury. That's £13.50 per bottle!

I know this question is from July, however I was T5 GF on 30th September. I generally enjoy a glass of the Henriot Rose, but there was only a Castlenau rose available, which was undrinkable (I’m in no way a connoisseur/brand snob) but both my partner I had couldn't drink more than a sip. Henriot white and Castlenau rose available in the main lounge area, and the champagne bar had Bolney and Castlenau rose.

I hope it’s a temporary supply issue.

OT: but does anyone else get an upset stomach from the Castlenau served in CE? A couple of times now after a glass I’ve had heartburn/reflux for 24 hours after drinking it – will be avoiding it in the future.

Sorry to say it was Castelnau Rose in the CCR too yesterday. I don't drink the stuff, but that was a bit of a shocker.

Delighted to report a substantially improved wine selection in T5 GF this morning, particularly the whites. Currently both a Meursault Les Clous 2015 and a Puligny Montrachet premier cru Champs Gains 2011 on offer. Both drinking well and not too cold....hurrah. Could be a time to (almost) hope for a delay to my flight

They are both still here and have just been joined by a yummy Pouilly Fuissé. It is MUCH better than the selection last week when I was here.

Think that will take a long time, until they find a new (cheap?) supplier :-)

I was thinking more on the lines of the Castelnau Rose vs the Henriot?

Oh sorry... see neither as an upgrade or downgrade, but all a matter of taste :-)

Thought you meant big name supplier changes. Apologies

A few nice old world wines around this morning at T5;

In Galleries North some Chateau Giraud Bordeaux Blanc Sec 2012
In Galleries South some Chanson Puligny Montrachet 2011, and also some Pouilly Fuisse and Pouilly Fume too. Best range of whites I have seen out for ages.

Delicious Margaux Brio de Cantenac Brown in Club lounge at LGW - got through nearly a bottle. As others have noticed free pour champagne pretty nice too!

Not bad for a 58 quid return fare, upgraded for 40 quid(!) and getting me free bagage for my return trip!
