POUGs are offered via BA.com and the App Manage My Booking via a distinctive banner (example from MMB below). You cannot get a POUG by telephoning, however the service centres can complete a POUG which falls over mid transaction. They are offered on cash and Avios redemptions but typically not on complex routings, BA Holidays or travel agency bookings until OLCI stage. POUGs on Avios redemptions won't get you additional TPs/Avios, but they will on revenue tickets.
Short haul routes from LON to/from Europe
A price in pounds indicates a ticket issued from London, other currencies indicate prices for tickets issued overseas (e.g. singles or returns originating from CDG priced in Euros). Multiple prices indicate a range of fares are on offer. Note that LCY prices currently seem to be on a different basis to LGW and LHR (cheaper, in other words).

I have actually never seen this offered, but almost all of my flights are booked by an agent--are agent-booked flights exempt from checkin offers due to this weird "locked" concept I still fail to grasp?

Agent bookings are not automatically excluded though reports seem to indicate they are less likely to get the offer. Both colleagues of mine and I have been offered POUG on agent tickets, sometimes even days before check-in.

Quick question to those more in the know than me. Does the changes of a POUG go down with a basic fair versus a plus fair for European travel? And does an TA booking make any difference between to the question? I was wondering as I have a varied amount of EU bookings coming up and was wondering. Thanks in advance.

£79 POUG offered each way for a day trip LCY-AMS in December.
I took it on the outbound flight as it will get me Silver for another year (and a nicer breakfast) but will suffer Economy and 5 tier points for the return leg.

I have had several flights upgraded to CE LHR-BRU and BRU-LHR since March for £79 (one-way). Really hoping for a chance to upgrade to CW from PE when I fly to HND in October!
*The catch is that I booked them myself and my company paid through expenses (I just paid the difference for the upgrade) so it was easier to be eligible... I now have to go through my TA which means I have to be lucky to be offered an upgrade when online check in opens.

I have seen it a couple of times for short haul flights like LHR-ATH. It was the reason why I preferred booking my business flights directly but the company decided to enforce the dormant travel policy... In fact, the prices I get using skyscanner or directly through BA are often better than what the TA is offered. Go figure!
