I don't think you can tell from anybody's mediated persona whether or not they're a nice chap. But I don't enjoy his videos. He's probably lovely, but he does sometimes come across as a bit of an entitled pr**k, which is, I imagine, from whence a lot of the FT animosity towards him originates.

Like most YouTube 'stars' or 'celebrity', the videos you watch are behind the most biased editor possible.
